Cancer Immunotherapy was named the breakthrough of the year by the
Editorial Board of the highly respected journal Science in December
2013. In immunotherapy, it’s not the disease but the immune system
that is targeted. This marks a new therapeutic principle in medical
care and is a focus of much of our cancer research at the Malaghan
Institute.
